Allergens and allergic reactions
Allergens are substances that can cause allergic reactions. Immune system (immune) is designed to protect against attack attempts on the part of dangerous micro-organisms and other hazardous foreign substances.
Some people even the immune system reacts to foreign substances as benign, as if it were a dangerous factor. The substance causing excessive and inappropriate immune response to the threat called allergen, and the body's reaction - an allergic reaction.
In fact, allergen can be any substance that the body comes into contact (substances inhaled, touched, ingestion or injected). The first contact with the substance the body's immune system reacts to the production of appropriate antibodies. Then there is no any response. The most common allergen inhalation:
